newsletter and website
I just wanted to say just how impressed i was with this week's newsletter. Generally the newsletter arrives home crumpled in my son's bag but as you probably know, it can also be viewed online. The website itself is great and if you have a look at some other edinburgh primary schools, you'll see just how good it is. Anyway, this week's newsletter contains lots of great photos of the kids, the news articles in the Evening News and even a picture of tragic Primrose Fairweather, whom i had previously read about when visiting the school. Well done - keep up the excellent work!

Hello
Hello, my name is Rashida Rafar and I am from Malaysia. I was in Leith Primary School in the year 1994 to 1996, and I am 24 year old now. It has been so long already and I miss everyone there. Missing Mrs Welsh, who taught me in 1995 (Primary 6), I can still remember our BIG painting of Edinburgh Castle that we pasted on the wall. How are you Mrs Welsh? I miss you dearly. Is Mr. Porteous still there? He was my first teacher and one of the first teacher that welcomed me in LP. A big hello to Miss Rose and everyone that matters during that time. (Mrs. Egan - she taught my younger sister Hayatul and Mrs. Crombie taught another sister of mine Rafiqah). I hope to see all of you again. Please do keep in touch. Take care! Leith Primary rocks my socks!

APPRECIATION
I am the grandmother of David Anderson, in P.1, and I am very impressed with the web-site for Leith Primary School. David seems very happy indeed, though a wee bit tired, with all the new experiences over the past 3 weeks. I'm looking forward to being in Edinburgh and visiting the school, at the end of September.
