Friends of Leith Primary have set up a School Meals Sub-Group to look into improving the quality and attractiveness of School Lunches. The group is still at an early stage and has held 2 meetings so far. Current activities include gathering information regarding the current setup of school meals provision. Provisional financial modelling to assess the feasibility of changing the current setup. We have arranged a meeting with The Soil Association who are very interested in participating in a scheme to improve school meals. We are also in the process of contacting various local Scottish and renowned chefs who are interested in school meals.
